It is a wonder
how diverse the world is:
some parts are arid,
some teem with seas.

One place has mountains,
others do not.
Some are ice-blue,
others - red-hot.

One part is day,
the other is night...
Somewhere there's peace,
elsewhere - they fight...

Contrasts are startling!
At times I'm in doubt -
is it the same person planet,
we're talking about???
