An attempt to save physical space
I've decided that I've had enough of my 21" CRT Monitor.
It is great, it does everything I need, and I love it. The only drawback is that it takes a tremendous amount of space on my desktop, and it is time to change it to something slimmer. I hate it when such decisions have to be made, because I am always getting attached to my gadgets and devices, I treat them with care and the thought that they may end up in bad hands is not comforting me.
Nevertheless, I need space, so there you go: 999.md/Board/Message.aspx?MsgID=100513 - 21" HP P1110 //Trinitron FD, 170$-delta. The price is quite high, you say? Well, pay attention to the delta variable, the value of which varies. If I find a person who seems nice, delta will be pretty large :-)
Space is also a problem with the computer's case. Yes, a desktop is a good thing, you can easily upgrade it. But... Somehow I've had enough of this, after seeing a Mac Mini, I told myself that a computer is just a box that does its job, it's not a big deal anymore.
As soon as I figure out what to do with my monitor, I'll look for a barebone system that will help me get even more free space on my desk. I hope it won't take me forever to deal with this :-)
Update: the monitor was successfuly sold to a 3D modeler. I gladly offered him a discount, as he was able to identify the language I was coding in at the time he visited me. Yep... Python helped someone save 10$ :-)
You should look at the NVN’s blue/gray fanless box which stays at the Alexey’s desk. I bought it at the previous Systems from one Chinese company booth, the have also Holland office, we can contact them.
