A digitizer in the hands of a geek... The drawing above is the second thing I drew with it, using GIMP (the best raster graphics tool) has instruments that are pressure-sensitive, so you can see that some lines are lighter than others.

It takes some time to get used to a graphic tablet; I'm not there yet, but I must admit that playing with this thing is very cool! I'll definitely experiment with it more, and it is now a certain fact that my children will have digitizers :-)

My only problem is that this Genius WizardPen 8x6 does not work in Linux out of the box. I'll keep trying.

 

P.S. the drawing above is a pseudo-introduction to a series of drawings that are associated with a poem that hasn't been published yet. The door is a special symbol, you will soon find out more about it.
