When I got myself a heart and a brain
I was very thankful, today I complain.
I’m torn into pieces and falling apart,
oh, why did I choose a brain and a heart?!?
Life would be simple if I had just one,
but carrying both is like carrying none.
I’m tired and hurting as this line sees light,
how do I end this meaningless fight?
Please set me free with the touch of your hand
and take me away from this forsaken land.
this is your best poem , sad however are your feelings…
This reminds me of a book I’ve always wanted to read, “How I became stupid” by Martin Page.
Constantin, you’re right, there are some similiarities. By the way, you cand find the book on scribd.com
Nice poem, i like it :)
