Friends and plans
A good friend will never laugh at you when you share your ideas or future plans with them. If they do laugh, be patient and wait until their reaction is followed by helpful suggestions or pointers to weak spots (along with an explanation of why they think so).
If you immediately react defensively, you will miss the part in which they offer their support.
A pseudo-friend (or an enemy) will just laugh, or just tell you how bad the plan is without backing up their point with arguments.
Moral of the story - share your ideas with your friends; be patient.
